Nascar Cheating
In every sport, there are always people who feel that they need to cheat in order to win. Heck, even people who don't need to cheat will sometimes do it anyway. It can really be a compulsion for some people. In any sport, there are people who will look for ways to cheat at the game. Although most sports have rules and regulations to avoid this, some people will always find a way. You may not think that automobile racing would be something that could be cheated in, but you'd be wrong. Nascar cheating has been prevelant ever since the sport was first introduced. They have added all sorts of rules in order to stop people from cheating in Nascar, but it still sometimes can happen. Racecar drivers tend to figure out how to cheat at Nascar so that they don't have to worry about disappointing family, friends, and fans.
There are many examples of cheating in Nascar, especially when you look back starting at the very beginning of the sport. Back then, there weren't a lot of rules and regulations to keep this kind of thing from happening. Nascar cheaters often got away for it for this very reason. After people started noticing that there were differences and discrepancies between different racers, the officials of Nascar began devising rules that would prevent this kind of thing. Every year, there are added rules to cover all the loop holes that racers might take advantage of.
For a good example of Nascar cheating, you should look up Michael Waltrip. This man really liked to cheat at Nascar, and was eventually kicked out of the sport. Michael Waltrip cheating in Nascar changed a lot of different rules. He affected how the sport was run. He may not be the biggest cheater in Nascar, but he is definitely one of the biggest. Not all cheaters are the driver though. Since a lot of the game happens with the pit crew as well, these people can do the cheating, too. Nascar crew chief cheating is a common affair and not always the fault of the driver. The drivers sometimes have no clue that the crew chief was doing these things. Still, the driver might get kicked out anyway.
If someone cheats in racing, they won't last long. They may not get caught right away, but once they do, they are going to have a hard time racing in any event ever again.
